Patoka Lake relaxingly spans within the division of at least 3 counties in Southern Indiana. It's gorgeous views can be enjoyed year around.
Summer is a very busy season. There is much to do on and near the lake. There is a winery, restaurants, marinas and much more. People come from miles around to enjoy boating, skiing, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking and just hanging out. There are many hiking trails in the park and within 10 to 15 minutes of the Lake. If you are like me, I enjoy walking and hiking, however, I have trouble with many shoes. After much trial and error and searching, I found Altra Running Shoes. In the fall, the trees share their love for the lake by showing off the changing color of leaves reflecting off the water. Not to mention the chance to spot an Eagle.
Wintertime on the lake is awesome, as the white snow sets on top of the partially frozen water. Leaving what mirrors a winter wonderland. If you are ever in Southern Indiana, be sure you visit Patoka Lake. You will truly enjoy it.
